Meet Ian

Meet Ian

Ian Field, 26, was raised in Eastern Washington. For the past four years he's worked promoting pragmatic, conservative ideas here in Spokane. As a key Congressional aide for Cathy McMorris Rodgers, Ian worked with community leaders to protect Fairchild Air Force Base, and to highlight the plight of veterans in our community.

As our representative, he will focus on solutions to promote strong schools, solid infrastructure, and safe communities.

Ian is excited about the future of Spokane. In the last five years unemployment is down by half. We’re seeing new construction, increasing home prices, and lower crime. Our community is on the right track. If we continue to work together, keeping spending low, investing in our schools and infrastructure, our future is bright.

Ian understands the people of the 6th District, and he looks forward to listening to their ideas and concerns. He will be a strong leader for this region with its vibrant Spokane neighborhoods, Eastern Washington University and Fairchild Air Force Base on the West Plains, and fertile farmland on the Palouse.

Before working in politics and government service, Ian grew up in Walla Walla, WA and graduated from Walla Walla University.

Ian believes we succeed when we are honest about the challenges we face and work together to reach solutions.
